Surah Fatir was revealed in Makkah consists of 45 Ayat and 5 Raku 35th Chapter of Holy Quran(22nd)Para.
We mention some famous incidents related to Surah Fatir
1. Narrated to Hazrat Abu Huraira:
The Holy Prophet (PBUH) said, “If anyone of you sneezes, he should say ‘Al-Hamduli l-lah’ (Praise be to
Allah), and his (Muslim) brother or companion should say to him, ‘Yar-hamuka-l-lah’ (May Allah bestow His
Mercy on you). When the latter says ‘Yar-hamuka-llah”, the former should say, ‘Yahdikumul-lah wa Yuslih
balakum’ (May Allah give you guidance and improve your condition).
(Sahih al-Bukhari: 6224)
2. Narrated to Hazrat Qais bin Kathir:
A man from Al-Madinah came to Abu Ad-Darda when he was in Dimashq. So he said: ‘What brings you O my
nephew?’ He replied: ‘A Hadith reached me, which you have narrated from The Messenger of Allah (PBUH).’ He
said: ‘You did not come for some need?’ He said: ‘No.’ He said: ‘Did you come for trade?’ He said: ‘No, I
did not come except seeking this Hadith.’ So he said: ‘Indeed, I heard the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) saying:
“Whoever takes a path upon which he seeks knowledge, then Allah makes a path to Paradise easy for him. And
indeed, the angels lower their wings in approval to the one seeking knowledge. Indeed forgiveness is sought
for the knowledgeable one by whoever is in the heavens and in the earth, even the fish in the waters. And
the superiority of the scholar over the worshiper is like the superiority of the moon over the rest of the
celestial bodies. Indeed the scholars are the heirs of the Prophets, and the Prophets do not leave behind
Dinar or Dirham. The only legacy of the scholars is knowledge, so whoever takes from it, then he has indeed
taken the ablest share.
(Jamia at-Tirmidhi: 2682)
3. Narrated to Hazrat Abu Huraira (RA):
The Prophet (PBUH) said, “Allah will give shade, to seven, on the Day when there will be no shade but His.
(These seven persons are) a just ruler, a youth who has been brought up in the worship of Allah (worships
Allah sincerely from childhood), a man whose heart is attached to the mosques (to pray the compulsory
prayers in the mosque in congregation), two persons who love each other only for Allah’s sake and they meet
and part in Allah’s cause only, a man who refuses the call of a charming woman of noble birth for illicit
intercourse with her and says: I am afraid of Allah, a man who gives charitable gifts so secretly that his
left-hand does not know what his right hand has given (nobody knows how much he has given in charity), and a
person who remembers Allah in seclusion and his eyes are then flooded with tears.
(Sahih Bukhari: 660)
Allah is praised as the Sovereign Creator. The Quraish urged to worship the true Allah. Muhammad (PBUH) said that it is no strange thing for a prophet to be called an impostor. Allah’s promises are true, but Satan is a deceiver. The reward for believers and punishment for infidels sure. Reprobate sinners shall not be as the righteous before Allah’s. Allah exalts the righteous but bringeth to naught the devices of sinners. The desert is made green by rainfall, a type of resurrection. Allah, who is man’s Creator, knoweth all things. Allah’s mercy to man seen in the waters. Day, night, the sun, and the moon glorify Allah.
